I think the bigger the contestants get, the more skeletal Bob and Jillian look.

I like Jillian less and less. Now she is selling some kind of colon cleanse pills.

I am not sure if I am going to watch. I don't like the idea of getting more extreme each season.

Well, if nothing else those people need the help the most so I don't really have a problem with it. Where else is someone going to get that amount of oversight and help for free?

I LOVE the fact that Bob and Jillian are going to be working together again. I really think that is much better than the team deal the way they used to do it.

Ok, is it just me or did one of those women remind anyone else of Tracy from last season? I didn't see a lot of the show but I saw her and was like 'NOOOO!, not again!"

It is interesting that on week one they only have one person from the losing team go home. Wonder why that is?

I really don't like all the excessive noise they have going on during the beginning workouts. I turn my TV down or skip past it. I am afraid someone will think I am watching something "inappropriate."

I know...Just the other day I saw an advertisement of some kind of pills that Jillian has and I was like WHAT???? Since when???? Seeing that alone just really made her suspect for me...

I bought her last book and she goes on about all natural stuff. Kind of disappointing.

Why not? It is the same stuff they have the contestants take if they are physically ok to do so. There is just NO WAY they lose all that weight so fast without also taking some thermogetics or supplements or such.

The show has made her a health and fitness expert. Why not exapand on that? Isn't that the American way?

I don't believe in diet pills/colon cleanses because they sound like a quick fix. Most of them have no scientific basis to them and many aren't tested because they are supplements and don't fall under FDA regulations. ephedra and hydroxycut are two popular examples

If you think the message of the show is that anyone can lose weight/exercise without a quick fix than why add in the colon cleansing and diet pills?

Also there are some inconsistent statements in that last book, I don't remember all of them right now but if you go through the reviews on amazon the criticisms are pretty accurate.

Just because someone is an expert doesn't mean they are right too. All of the talk shows had on all of these medical doctors this week that all came up with their own diets, the cookie diet, etc.. you can always manipulate the data your own way..

I'll watch the show, though with some skepticism.

I am really not a fan of the way Jillian likes to bully people.

Has anyone really ever quit The Biggest Loser?

What I have not liked this year and I think may be been part of last year too is that they have the people plugging products during the show. Walgreens, food products etc.

I still like to watch the show, but it's probably going to go downhill if it just turns into commercials for either Bob and Jillian or whatever products they pitch.

Yes there are way too many product placements. This is the only time I miss my Tivo. Anybody need something from Walgreens? Gum? Subway for lunch? I'll stop now.

Cinderella, I think one or two people did quit. But don't ask me who and which season.

I was hoping that when the gray team chose one team to switch that they would pick pink, or even red.

I think the green team has both been taught to hide emotions, which is not a good idea, but Jillian did seem to push too much.
I am not sure about the lady on the red team either....is she telling the truth or have Bob and Jillian just seen it happen so much that they know she is waiting till her weight counts?

Well, according to the teaser for next week, there is more red team drama. As for people who have actually quit, I know some have wanted to, but I don't remember anyone who actually walked off the show. I do think some may have just sort of given up so they would be voted off.

I don't ever remember Walgreens being plugged before, but man that was cheesy! The gum "commercials" are dumb too. Subway I don't mind as much since the majority of people eat out at least once in a while so why not try and go there instead of having pizza or something.

hmmmm...It could be my imagination, but this group really feels "cut throat" to me. I'm not liking the vibe. I do think there's something the woman on the red team is doing too. What Idk, but something....

I am getting some weird vibes with this group as well. Especially the woman on the red team. Time will tell. It was all so...confrontational and dramatic.

I was rooting for Melissa (the lady on the red team), but she reminds me too much of Tracy.
