Hi pals,
Not that I wanted to mention this, but last night I did 1/2 of a colonoscopy prep and it was pretty hard.....
I have to do it all again this morning. Hard by myself. Sadie kept wanting stuff and I had to plan each moment what I would or could do.
Please pray that I can get through it again.
Thank you so much...
This is a screening colonoscopy.
It is hitting my head more than anything....I can't take aspirin or ibuprofen due to the prep. Please pray for my head.

Father,
Please help PW to get through this ordeal without further suffering. Cause it to stop bothering her head. In addition, we pray that her foot heals well and we pray for her children. Thank you. We pray this in the name of your Son, our Savior and Mediator, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Lord please help Nan through this prep. Keep it from affecting her head. I ask that she is able to finish the other half this morning without interference. I pray the colonoscopy itself will go smoothly and that nothing wrong will be found.

Thank you Jim. Done with all the morning 'drinking'. It took me a lot longer, because my stomach was rebelling! But with the 'drinking' of prep stuff behind me, I feel a lot better. Dear Lord, please answer these dear prayer requests.

(((((Nan)))))) They let me take a muscle relaxer, and I was able to take Tylenol before the procedure although not anything containing an NSAID. They even let me take another prescription . . . maybe blood pressure . . . can't quite remember. I sailed through the procedure itself but, yes, the prep just about took me down.
Father,
I lift up my friend, Nan, and ask that You cause all to go well with the colonoscopy. Relieve her physical suffering due to the prep, and Father, please let the results be normal with no follow-up required. Thank You for hearing and answering our prayers.

Well guys, as luck would have it, I had four polyps. Three came out ok, and one was large and probably adenomatous , pre-cancerous at least, and he could not get it all out.
So he sent it off to the lab (all of the tissue) and I have to repeat my colonoscopy in 2 months. I am horrified, but glad I found out and am not putting my head in the sand.
I am just so disheartened about the colonoscopy sooooo soon I can't believe it. :(
I hated the prep with a HUGE passion and my stomach just turns just thinking about it.
Oh boy.
Please keep me in your prayers.

Hi all, Boy I'm in pain where largest 'suspicious' polyp is/was. Can only take tylenol, so took two extra strength, plus my normal meds to try to get back on track. I can't believe I have to have another one of these in 2-4 months. Doc is getting it analyzed and then probably wants to see if it grows. So a month after school starts, I will have to do this again, but maybe my air cast will be off by then. That would be nice.
Sigh.
So, at 1:30 a.m. I decided to make a collage of Drew, Laura, and mostly Savannah to get framed at Hobby Lobby. Why now? I don't know. Because I am awake.
I have two lovely ones of Darci, Jim, and Lucy. Trying to update the picture "wall". .
See how easy it is to forget that I have a dangerous polyp that is not totally removed? ha
Well, please pray for me. My bro called last night and gave me a pep talk about how great it is that I had the colonoscopy. But he and his wife did his together, and that really kills without Bob. It is a vision of the future, I guess. Growing older without my best buddy.
Well, I love you guys.

Dear Father, asking that You lift Nan's spirits, and that You hold her very close. Thank You for the blessings You have sent her, for the songs to remind her that she is not alone. Lord, please cause this polyp, to turn out to be nothing, and that they can easily remove the rest of it during the next colonoscopy. Please continue to bring healing to her foot and every part of her body, spirit and mind. May she be filled with Your peace, and quite joy that is beyond understanding in the days ahead. We thank You Lord and ask in Jesus name. Amen

((((Nan)))) I am so sorry you have to repeat so soon because I know how devastating the prep can be.
Father,
I lift up our Nan to You asking for complete healing where the polyps were removed, and I also ask that all four are clear of cancer. Lord, be merciful and when she does prep again, please make it easier on her. Surround Nan with Your Love, Protection, and Peace. Help her in every way that You know she needs help according to Your Divine Plan.

father, i ask that Nan have the courage (I don't) to undergo this ghastly prep again in 2 months. She is strong , Father. I ask that you help her in her lonesomeness and sadness, and that you would comfort her always and let her know she isn't alone. but physically alone is hard, Father. Help make up that difference somehow. I pray her polyp has no cancer in it, and that come the second procedure it'll all be able to be removed and then she's free and clear for 5 years!

Father, I have been reading PW posts for years, and although i haven't really spoken to her Lord, She is a sweet sister and encourager in the Lord. Father I ask that you watch over this woman. Father I pray that you give her strength in this time. Father she has been faithful to you and I ask that you pour your healing oil over her in Jesus name. Help her to continue to be strong and an encouragement to others and help her rely on you.

You guys are wonderful!
My pain really lessened tonight. Yea.
Please pray for the results. And please pray that I have a backbone of steel about the next prep. I won't lie and say it was great, because it just aint! ha
But anyone in the whole world CAN do it and get through it.
So please pray for my resolve and the results.
Lord, yesterday was 2 weeks until registration. I feel like all I have done is get an eye exam, tooth exam, visit the ortho doc, break my foot, get a colonoscopy and now not even done!!! Lord, I am NOT one bit ready for all the classes to start. I need focus.
Father, help me to do something constructive for my class all day tomorrow.
Lord, I ask that you help me revamp about 5 tests to go on scantron, and set up the fall semesters wish list of computer lab dates. Father, if I turn it in very quickly, I may actually get some of the dates I hope for, to go along with my lesson plans.

Thank you all for continuing to pray about the colonoscopy.
Please keep 3tulips positive about her scope, too, for without it, we could not remove these darn polyps and they would be very dangerous to say the least. The scope is truly a blessing, no matter that it is a bit unpleasant. :) It is do-able, or I wouldn't have done it. ha

Father,
Please hear my prayers for Nan and make it so the pathology results are just fine, and give Nan super strength
