I thank God for being the mapquest of my life. I know that I have taken many wrong turns or shortcuts, only to find that I have gotten lost. When I consult him, he doesn't make me start over; He just shows me the way from where I am. Thank you God!

Oh wow, this is such an awesome forum. I have so much to thank God for today, errr yesterday since it's just past midnight...lol.
First I want to thank God for my awesome 14 yo son. He is such an amazing young man. His dad has basically kicked him out of his house, because his new wife doesn't like him. This breaks his heart. But, the best part is he has such a pure heart for God. He has such an amazing willingness to learn God's way, and what God wants for his life. He is still a teenager so has the normal angst as such, but he is already miles ahead of other teens in his age category. Not only that but he is just a cool kid. He's funny, smart, artistic, caring and compassionate. Plus he's a good big brother to his 10 yo, twin sisters. I dont' want to put him up on a pedestal, but God truely broke the mold as far as sons with him. No offense to other parents whose sons rock also, mind you.
I want to thank God also for keeping my children and I safe. We don't live in the best part of town, but thank you Jesus nothing bad has happened to us. We have everything that we need, and most of what we want.
Thank you Lord that I have a job. Too many are unemployed at the moment, and I am blessed that I work where I do. Even though I don't always feel blessed to be there.
Thank you Lord most of all for loving me in spite of all of the the things I have going on in my life. He knows my heart, my inner thoughts, and he loves me even though. For a lot of years I ran like the wind from him. I was afraid of him for some reason. Though have no idea what I was afraid of. But he just stood there waiting for me, with his hand outstretched, gently saying my name. He knew he would have me eventually, it was me that needed the convincing. I thank God that he is working on me daily to be a better woman of God for him. That in turn will turn me into an even better mom, employee, American and warrior for him.
Yeah, I gotta say, I am pretty dog gone blessed. Thank you Dad for loving me through it all. You never gave up on me.

That whenever Satan confronts Jesus, it's not a clash of the titans or battle of equals, but instead the devil is conquered by and must bend the knee to the Lover and Defender of our souls... and tapouts are not an option.
Cases in point: when the demon-possessed man met Jesus in the Garasenes (Luke 8), or when Jesus completed His mission of redemption on the cross. No tag team or tapout. Satan was defeated, period.

I am thankful that God was able to use me today to help some people who were down on their luck. What it tells me is that I am still doing oki doki, and that encourages me that I know I can still listen to that still small voice. Thank you Lord.
