I am currently watching all of the seasons on Netflix. I only pay about 9 dollars a month and you can watch all seasons of Lost directly on the computer. I have never seen the show before but when I saw they were offering all of it online I decided to check it out. Well now I know why it has been so popular and I have to say I'm a little bit dissappointed I had not been watching it all these years! It is fantastic. I am completely sucked in. I am currently on season 4. I have been watching it with all my free time for the past month. It is a wild ride to watch all the seasons all at one time. With so much symbolism and clues here and there I like being able to watch it all at one time instead of waiting week to week. I will be done with all the seasons before the final one starts in Feb. It will be really hard for me to wait a whole week to watch the next episode. This show is one of the best I have ever seen. Once the show is over I intend to buy the complete collection just to keep around. I have not been this intrigued in a show since the X Files many years ago (and that one lost my interest near the end). So I hope this one has a big and satisfying finish!

There may be something in the finale with the numbers.

Maybe some of the characters will be assigned a number that goes with Hurley's lottery win.

Yes, it's VERY hard, Coffeetx. I have a love/hate relationship with this show. I love it, but I hate how frustrated I feel at the end of each episode because I have to wait a whole week to find out what happens. I think it's one of the best shows I've ever seen too.

Something I notice on Lost Season 3 on Through The Looking Glass where they show the flash-forward on Jack that he said something about that if the dr. who was talking to him about his drinking that if that dr. went upstairs and seen his dad and if his dad was not more drunk then him then he could fired him. But I thought that his dad died before he got on the plane so that really confused me. Does anyone know what I am talking about? And can you tell me if his dad is dead or not?

Yes I would agree this is confusing. His dad was supposed to be dead before he went to the island and the whole drinking thing with Jack does not happen until he returns from the island. So not sure on that one.

I wonder if it was implying that his dad came back to life, due to the magic powers of the island.

I'm betting that the Christian Shepard on The Island is whoever is impersonating Locke, which I'm guessing is the black smoke seeing how it's already proved that it can take on the form of a human (when it appeared as Alex to Ben).

I think that too. Like Richard said, even on the island dead is dead.

Hmmmm ... interesting theory. The black smoke also appeared as Mr. Eco's brother a few seasons ago.

Redemption Television: Chris Seay on The Gospel According to LOST
Shawn McEvoy - Crosswalk.com Senior Editor

Every once in while you stumble across the book that you feel you should have written. Or at least, that's what I thought when I saw the cover and title of Chris Seay's latest effort, The Gospel According to LOST, which happens to be about my all-time favorite television series and the Christian themes therein.

Then I was fortunate enough to read the book and speak to Chris about it, and let me assure you, he knows his stuff. Seay mines every nugget of redemptive gold from the annals of this show as it approaches its final season, and helps the reader understand that while LOST may not be a "Christian program," it's certainly a well-written, exquisitely-crafted piece of culture that explores what it means to be saved, to be redeemed, to be home, to be forgiven, to be in community... even to sometimes not know what on Earth is going on.

CW: In a nutshell, what is the Gospel as LOST records it?

Chris Seay: For Christians, we have to make two distinctions. It is The Gospel According to LOST, so these are the spiritual truths as told in this unbelieveable series. And sometimes they line up very clearly with Jesus the Liberating King. And other places they do not. So my job isn't to make all of it conform, it's to reflect on it and ultimately to believe what Jesus said: those that seek will find. So that's what I love about this show - it gets people seeking, asking questions, and hopefully finding. It isn't an endorsement of everything that happens in the show.

From time to time people pick up the book and tell me, "I thought this was gonna be just like reading the Bible." And I think, "For that, you would read the Bible." For this, you would engage people in conversations about a show that they're already watching. Having said that, I think that The Gospel According to LOST is about the yearning for redemption. There's not a full understanding of where redemption comes from, although, clearly with all the biblical metaphors in the show - the biblical narrative being woven in - there's so much there that alludes to [the Gospel], that seems to be hungry for it, but at the end of the day, [the story's about] the most broken people you can find.

Very interesting to look for ways to engage the culture with the message of the Gospel through the show LOST.

One thing LOST is not missing is a messiah figure... there are tons of them in the show.

That was a pretty interesting article. I linked to it on my facebook page.

I am really looking forward to the new season. I wonder if they will reveal who "Adam and Eve" were.

What do you all think about this promo pic recently released by ABC?

Lost Supper

Also, what do you make of this comment made last week by "Lost" producer Damon Lindlelof on the finale?
"I can't believe they're actually going to let us get away with this."

I go back and forth. I don't like Jack with Kate most times. At other times I think it is Bernard and Rose or Sun and Jin.
