LOL! I watched it.
The parallel universe thing is interesting. So maybe they all had to meet, like some kind of fate thing.
The temple stuff with Jacob and the good vs evil stuff is interesting. Couple of theories out there, a few of them biblical. Seems the Esau character could be in the body of Said?

I was actually right about a couple things! But somehow being right doesn't feel as good as I thought it would. I prefer to be taken by surprise.

What's really bothering me is what does Richard have to with any of this? And what did "The Man in Black" mean by "It's nice to see you out of those chains"????

It's been speculated that Richard was the captain of the slave ship. Maybe the slaves revolted and put the crew in chains, then sailed to the island (?).
At death, Juliet seemed to know that the bomb worked. That was what she wanted to tell Sawyer. But why didn't they take HER to te temple to be revived? (Oh, yeah! She's got another show...)
Now, why does encircling yourself with ashes protect you from smokey?
Where were Anna-Lucia and Ecko on the plane?

I thought that was pretty smart.
I really don't think Sayid is possessed by Smokey. For one thing he is still impersonating Locke, and for another, I think they got the ash around the temple in time.

Poor Juliet. She was my favorite character...
Aside from that, I thoroughly enjoyed every second of the premier. I am so excited to see how the parallel universes are explained!

I thought Jacob went into Sayid....
Yeah, the parrellel universe was cool. I really thought them being on the plane it not going down would be the finally....
I like the egyptian stuff too....
Richard was not dead, he was just knocked out.

Also missing Michael and Walt but that's understandable since they will not be able to show Walt as a child. And Shannon as well...so why show Boone when he was dead the first season. The Desmond in the plane...he was in the island when Oceanic was flying over. More questions but exciting season to look forward to.

Someone posted before what if Jack is the leader of the others. What if Jack is Jacob and Sawyer is the dude in black who killed him since he did tell Kate that he will kill him. And what if the ship represents Oceanic in the present time?

We've had flashbacks and flash forwards, and now apparently the story line where the plane doesn't crash is a flash SIDEWAYS. How do these writers come up with this stuff? My brain is still ouchy!
I don't think Richard is dead, because I read online that the actor who plays him, Nestor Carbonell, has been made a regular on the show. I told a friend who thought Richard was dead that I didn't think they'd kill off somebody they'd just made a regular in the first episode. :D
LOVED Terry O'Quinn's performance as UnLocke. He was just plain creepy!

I always pictured the writers with this big wall and tons of big post it notes with arrows when they're writing this show. I think there will never be a show like this after this season. They have a bunch of brilliant writers. And yes.... I love his new character.

Oh, she's not dead - she's the only one who knows that it worked, which means she's alive in the other timeline. Perhaps being so close to death gave her a glimpse "sideways,"? Perhaps her comments on getting coffee were from the alternate timeline somehow, after she and Sawyer meet up, sans-Island?
