They wondered why the pool was murky. I think Jacob kept the pool clear and when he died something happened to it.

if they merge the parallel universe and their universe than will be some great writing.

Or it will be way too confusing and intellectual and about two people will get it and the rest of us will be mad.

Perhaps the question will be, which 'reality' is real.

Juliet was hitting the bomb, and something happened, but she and those with her were alive when the time-flash happened. Now we have two different realities--one where the bomb went off, and one where it didn't. Perhaps at some point, one group or the other will have to decide what happened.

The actor who plays Sawyer really impresses me. He can have a moment like he had at the dock, but not fall into the stereotypical maudliness of it, and retain his tough-guy shell.

The only thing I wondered was where he got the ring.

LOL! But, if anyone could get a ring on that island, it would be Sawyer. He probably stole or strong-armed it from someone when he was the boss at the Dharma initiative. Remember in the beginning he had everything from the wreckage of the plane - he was divvying it out to people, bit by bit in exchange for favors? Last week I had to laugh when, within 10 minutes of him arriving at the temple, he had a gun.

I really miss seeing Sun - she is such a phenomenal actress. It is going to be great to see her and Jin together again. I love the different characters - no one is totally good or totally bad (except for Jack who seems to be just troubled). I love the writing in this show and will be sad to see it end.

My theory now is that the Smoke Monster is imprisoned on the island and needs someone to free him. I keep thinking this whole plot is a cosmic game of backgammon! But who is black and who is white?

Now we can try to guess the meaning of the numbers that were assigned.

Last night's episode was a lot better than last week's. Probably due to the fact that it had nothing to do with Kate or Jack. There still wasn't too many answers though.

How weird was it to see Ben, a guy we all know as a compulsive liar and murderer, as an English teacher? That kinda freaked me out.

plus, it seems like the story line is different for Locke. Like Helen told him to ask his father to the wedding, and the fact she was with him to begin with because I thought in his back story before she told him to quit calling her.

That's my guess. Especially since he reminded not-Locke about the rules.

He's got the Jacob hair and shirt so I think it's Jacob. 'just wondering how Richard did not see him and Sawyer saw him with Lock-ness.

I don't understand the asking of his father also since his father was the reason he was in the wheel chair ...did I remember it right? So why would he have a continuing relationship with his Dad after that incident?

I'm thinking other things must have changed as a result of the 'reset'. Like maybe his dad isn't evil. But then, how did he get hurt?

I didn't notice, but in the blogs I've read, there was even a picture of Locke and his dad sitting on his desk.

I have always thought that Jack would somehow be the hero, but now I am thinking it is going to be Sawyer.

I think the boy looks like Jacob and Sawyer.

How come Kate the annoyer does not have a number?

My favorites lines were Bejamin Linus at the funeral.... I am still laughing.

"Kate the annoyer"... I love it!!

I laughed out loud at Lapidus' line at the funeral. He's such a great character.
