I'm still not sure what he sees in Vienna...
I like Tenley, but her voice sort of grates.

To give up a job for the man you love and KNOW he loves you and will be there for you, that I could agree with. Also, I'd be thinking if he truly loves me, he isn't going to propose to someone else. He has broken 'many of the rules' so far this year. If he loves me, he'll break another one and leave them all standing. He knows where to find me. If he didn't love me that much, he won't love me enough anyway!
I hadn't thought of it that way. That would be very romantic.
Did you all notice at Tenley's parents' house that the throw on the back of the loveseat said, "As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord"? I thought that was cool. It would have been cooler to see Tenley's parents question Jake on his beliefs.
I did notice the throw and I agree, I would have loved to have seen the parents ask about his beliefs as well.

Ali- I think she made the right choice if she has a great job that she loves. I agree with Dee, if he really loves her, he will pursue her after the show is over.
Maybe Tenley's parents did ask Jake about his beliefs, but they did it off camera or the producers didn't want to show it. I was just surprised Tenley didn't have a sister named Eightley or Nineley.
I would quit watching the show, but my husband watches it, so I may as well watch with him.

Sums it up for me. With this lousy economy, you'd be a fool to give up a job for a 1-in-4 chance of getting married. Whatever you think of Ali, she's not a fool.
Speaking of which, over on Reality Steve's blog, he's saying that Ali will be the next Bachelorette. What do you think of that?

Very funny!! I do wonder where they got Tenley..... Tinley, I could understand. Maybe it was misspelled.

Well, it's down to Tenley and Vienna. I have to admit that Vienna doesn't bug me quite as much since she's not interacting with the girls anymore. She's just so immature. She doesn't seem like a good fit for Jake at all.
And it seems they are really setting Ali up to be the next bachelorette. . .

Yeah, notice that on the very 1st night, he got rid of women who had strong careers, like that one who was a pilot like him. That says volumes.

To me, his final two make him seem very torn. It seems like one side of him is picking the moral, upstanding girl (Tenley) that his parents and upbringing would have him choose, and the other side is choosing pure fun and playfulness (Vienna.)
I think his family will steer him toward Tenley next week, but that remains to be seen. I really can't see him marrying either one in the end.

Watched the 'Women tell all' last night and there were definitely some fruitcakes this year. Rozlyn's story just doesn't add up. Now I'm sure there is more on both sides than we will ever know but she didn't make her case IMHO.
Michele still seemed like a basket case although she denied it! LOL

On seeing the previews of the final episode and both girls crying (at least they look quite upset), I think Jake pulls a Brad Womack / Jason Mesnick: picks neither girl but if he has to choose, then he will pull a Jason Mesnick & go running (or in this case, flying) to Ali.
On TWTA last night, Roz & Michelle are a complete nutcases. Both of them need help facing reality.

It seems like Chris usually asks the bachelor/bachelorette at the 'tell all" show, if they are engaged or happy with their choice. He just plain asked Jake if he was "happy" and Jake said he was. My gut is telling me that he is going to pull a Brad Womack too. Poor Tenley is going to have her heart broken again.
IMO Rozlyn was downright lying. There was much too much evidence stacked against her.
I still think Ali will be the next bachelorette.

I so hope you are right but I think with all the spoilers and other 'stuff' on the internet that Chris may be trying to confuse folks or at least not give anything way. If he picks Vienna, he is an idiot! Did you see the look on his mom's face on the previews when the statement was made Vienna was the girl that NONE OF THE OTHER GIRLS LIKED???? OOOWW!!! I would not want to be on that hot seat!

Tenley was so gracious to Jake. She's a class act.
It'll be interesting to see if Jake and Vienna make it. Especially now that he will have the limelight of DWTS too. . .
