I was upset that he picked Vienna. My mom called her a not so nice word because she was always trying to get into bed with him and she didn't like any of the others. She was always ragging on them.

I was hoping his parents wouldn't like her and then he would pick Tenley. Actually, I was hoping he wouldn't pick either and go back to Ali but I'm glad she is the Bachelorette. I don't know if I will watch that one. Of course they are moving in together. What did I expect from a good old Christian boy, who by the way I don't think is much of a Christian if he couldn't wait until marriage. When he mentioned about God in the beginning I thought this one would be different. Boy, was I wrong!

We'll see how long this lasts and if they even get married. Jake told Tenley that she would be a forever friend and that she could talk to him anytime. Yeah, like Vienna will even let her get within 10 ft. of him never mind talk to him over the phone or on e-mail's. She will be checking for Tenley all the time.

As much as I don't care for Vienna, I have to say that IF Jake actually feels for her what I have with my bf, then I can't fault him for picking her. He made a comment about her always defending him. That resonated with me because that's what my bf does with me - all the time. He tells me that if anyone wants to get to me, they need to go through him first. He's a very big former football playing boy. So, as unpopular of a decision as this is, when Jake said he could be himself with her, I knew that was it. I do hope they make it. Would love to see another success story.

Jake and Vienna were on Regis and Kelly this morning. 'did not know that the last show was filmed 3 months ago...I'm assuming before the holidays. 'did not care about Vienna but I wish them the best.

I read the spoiler too, so I wasn't surprised he picked Vienna.

If everyone sees someone one way but the person who is in love with that person, than I would assume he is just blinded to that person's faults. I hope she is nicer than she came across on TV, for Jake's sake.

I was glad they didn't do that do you want to accept this key to spend the night together in the fantasy suite thing this year! Or maybe I just missed it.

'guess the link spoiler that I posted was all true. 'was really hoping that it was just a rumor but when she kept getting a rose week after week after week....that was about it.

That was just eerie. Reality Steve must have Chris Harrison in his pocket...I mean geesh, he predicted every episode...that's just uncanny. So, yeah, I knew it was going to be Vienna. I was just waiting for ATFR to see if they were still together. (BTW, the whole Bachelor series is filmed in the autumn, that's why you get these spoilers leaking out before it starts airing.)

Typical worldly attitude..."comittment, what comittment?" However, although I was disappointed he chose Vienna, I don't begrudge them their happiness.

So...on to the future. Anybody plan to watch Jake on "Dancing With the Stars"? Ali on the "Bachelorette"? Jason and Molly's wedding? My answers: yes, maybe, absolutely not.

I like DWTS so I'll see him there but not watching for him. Ali- I like her but there is too much drama, think I'll pass. The wedding- depends, if I'm not busy and there is nothing else on I want to watch, maybe.

My question- how many think if Jake lasts more than a few weeks on DWTS it could be the end of him and Vienna?

Vienna obviously likes the limelight. When that's gone, I think it'll soon be over. . .

Or when "the spark" fades...their relationship seemed to be mainly physical...and without the adrenaline rush of being on TV and traveling to all those exotic locations...might be hard to come down to earth.

Methinks this is a "staged" wedding, and their real wedding was quiet and private.

Maybe I'm just cynical in my old age. Hey, are you ahead of me time wise..if so can you just give me a recap of what happened. Then I can quit watching it.

I am in EST so I am ahead of you. Guess what. . . They end up getting married! :) The rain and wind pick up as Molly is saying her vows. That makes me think it's not staged. Why choose to get rained on in a designer gown?

Especially when it wasn't even that spectacular of a dress...the top was just your typical strapless dress..and the bottom looked like a bunch of feathers to me. I just don't care for strapless dresses. To me, they always look like they are falling down.

depends how much you like "getting rained on" drama..

I couldn't figure out why they didn't have canopies for the wedding party and even the guests (although the guests did have clear umbrellas)..after perusing message boards, I got the answer--drama!

From what I understand that day they were married was the day the tsunami warning happened - the Chile earthquake. 'seems like rain was not a forecast or at least a slight chance of rain but since the earthquake did happen followed by the tsunami...the heavy downpour was a sudden shift of weather so 'guess the canopies were not even thought about but then it did not seem to bother the couple so good for them.

Actually, I read on one board that the wedding coordinater (sp) DID want to have a rain back up plan (as she normally ALWAYS does), but ABC said NO!

An earthquake and subsequent tsunami would have nothing to do with sudden rain.

Interesting that ABC said no!
